Covid-19 Updates​

Following the outbreak of Coronavirus early this year we have all seen changes in how we live everyday life and how we shop. Please read below for updates on how we're operating in the new restrictions and what were doing to keep you safe! 

New Procedures 

To keep both ourselves and you safe we are following all guideline, keeping up to date with government updates and new rules. We are taking every precaution in the making, decorating and packaging of our cakes. Hand sanitizer is available upon collection which we will also use in all listed procedures. Thorough Cleaning is done throughout and at the end of the day, this is a usual procedure we follow to comply with health and safety guidelines. 

Orders

We are still able to take orders and complete any existing orders. Please be aware that new procedures can make completing an order longer and therefore we may not be able to take on as many orders as before the outbreak. We will do our very best to take on all requests and help our local community with a cake supply! 

Collections/Deliveries

Collections will now require you to wear a mask. Collections will still be from Cakes By Em, Bicester. This is separate from my household but still a home address, please respect that timings of collections will have to be scheduled so that there are no cross overs with other customers. This is to protect both us and yourself. 

Deliveries will all now be contactless. Where possible, your order will be left outside your door or in a safe dry place. Once your cake has been dropped off, we will contact you detailing where it has been left and wait in our vehicle until we have confirmed the cake has been received.  

All packaging will be disinfected, but please sanitize as you wish after receiving your order. 

Cancellations

Following the new guidelines, many parties and celebrations have had to be cancelled, we as a business understand this and are more than happy to work around this with you. Existing orders can be cancelled and changed to a different date. If you do not wish to have your original order for another date we are more than happy to carry over money value to another order. No refunds will be given, this is to protect our business and keep ourselves afloat. The same procedures will be taken for wedding orders, new dates can be booked and we will also try our best to help and advise with any other issues you may be facing where we can.
